9. Editing a Payment

In the Payments database you can use the Quick Search to find the customer whose payment you wish to edit.

The image below shows the results of a search for Walker - which you can see surrounded by red in the Quick Search area.

You can see the payment that was just entered for Juliette Walker, and to edit it you would click on the customer's name.

This takes you back to the payment we just entered for Juliette Walker.

As you can see in the image below, we have altered the number of small boxes from 1 to 2, and changed the payment from $7 to $14.

Notice that there are three buttons surrounded in red in the image below:
Save Changes - this will save any changes you make.
Delete - this will delete the record of this payment from the database - only do this if you are really sure!
Cancel - this will take you back to the database, making no changes.
