5. Searching the Database

When in the database you can search for a customer using the Quick Search. which is surrounded in red in the image below.

NOTE: Only enter only one piece of information into the search box, for example First Name or Last Name but NOT both.

EXAMPLE

We will search for Juliette Walker, whom we have just entered as a new customer. The search field will look like the image below (surrounded in green). REMEMBER: just one piece of information in the search field.

Then click Find It

 

This searches the database and returns all the customers with the name Walker, which looks like the image below. We can see that Juliette Walker is there. To select the customer your are looking for, click on their name.
